Pregnancy

Pregnancy is your Never Ending Story.  It seems to go on FOREVER.

The trimesters are their own unique story as well.  Jokingly:  1st is worst, next (2nd) is best, 3rd is absurd.   You’ll soon learn what I mean, or perhaps you already know.  There are so many things going on during pregnancy.  So many more than I even understand.  The magical gift of life growing inside you is unfathomable to me in understanding how everything takes place.  It’s amazing and glorious!  I have so much appreciation for the human body, especially the development of new life.  And we as women have that divine gift inside of us that no man can ever appreciate fully.

Pregnancy is the time to prepare for your natural birth.

Preparation is POWER

Without preparation, there is no point in your decision to have a natural delivery.  If you do not prepare for that fateful day it most likely will not happen in a way you hope or plan.

I’ve had conversations with young women about what they’d like to do with their baby’s birth.  Some are a bit whimsical about having a natural birth:  “Oh, I’ll try it and see how I do.”  That is a setup for failure, quite guaranteed.  That is NOT the mindset you want.  I’ve known ladies that didn’t want to lift a finger during their pregnancies, believing that they “had to rest to have enough energy.”  This is also completely non-beneficial towards giving birth naturally.

I know without any doubt in my mind that the things you do during your pregnancy will ultimately affect how you will go through the birthing of your baby.

But you also have to make the choice

DO your research, do what you learn and put it to the test.

How can an athlete run a race and finish it successfully?  Pregnancy is the training before the marathon of labor and delivery.  That marathon is something you will HAVE to go through.  Wouldn’t you rather be prepared and have the confidence you can easily gain from that preparation?  YES!!  I know you can.

Pamper Yourself Along The Way Because You Deserve It

You may be at the beginning of your journey, but that journey is not a straight line; it’s a circle.  Once you’ve come around that circle, you will not regret having taken that loop.
