 No matter your learning method, most couples find that taking birth classes online is most convenient for them.  We’re online so much that it saves time, energy, and money often times to simply do things via the web.  Of course, there are always traditional options of in person classes, home study courses, book etc.

I personally did a variety of them myself and found that EVERY method has its own pros and cons:

Courses In Person

  • you may enjoy a more hands-on approach, but others may prefer their privacy
  • you can ask questions directly and immediately, but your personal preferences may conflict with the instructor

Birth Classes Online

  • you can typically study at your own pace, but you may not have the hands on help to know if you’re doing anything wrong
  • it may take longer to find answers to your questions, school-73497_1280but you usually have a much larger set of information from multiple resources

Overall, I feel the online courses have a greater value for your time, effort and money.  You are going to be COMPLETELY prepared if you take a natural childbirth course online, along with using the resources and articles from mynaturalbabybirth.com.

It DOES take some time and preparation EVERY DAY in order to be fully prepared for your delivery.  I recommend starting a course at the beginning of your second trimester so that you can go at your own pace and have sufficient time to put such a valuable  bulk of knowledge in place.  But if you’re farther along than that, DON’T WORRY.

    You are right on the spot when you say that starting early is best. Before you know it baby will be ready to come and if you aren’t prepared it can be hard to do a natural birth.

      I made my signature with cooltext.com. But my website theme has an option to have a signature image automatically after each post, so I use it fully.

    Thanks for this information.

    When you have such busy schedules and lifestyles i suppose fitting hands on in person courses can be difficult on some occasions.

    Learning all of this online is something i never thought of before, but looking at it you have a great point here.
