My Thoughts on EMAB’s Postpartum Recovery Essentials Bundle

 I honestly wished I had discovered this earlier and it would have saved me a lot of pain and discomfort.  Both of my boys were so eager to see the light when they were born that they came out posterior, or face up.  So that meant that I tore….bad….all the way down to my rectum.  My doctor’s called it a Level 3 tear I believe, which apparently is the worst kind.  So I had stitches and scar tissue that I’ll have forever.  

Ice packs and Tucks pads are all that I had in the moment, along with prescription Ibuprofen.  But later on at home I would just BURN and BURN.  This Recovery Bundle is my first investment for myself, after making sure that I get adequate sleep as much as possible.  I have yet to read other reviews on this product, let alone any of the individual items inside, that are negative in anyway.  Every mother who has taken the time to take care of herself with these essentials has never regretted it.

    Ouch. One thing that scares me about pregnancy is the aftermath, just as you’ve described. I often wonder if you ever heal back as good as new, but glad to see there are quality products out there designed for this exact situation!
    Good to see that these are all organic as well, I’d be hesitant about putting chemicals ‘down there’.

      It’s really amazing what the body can do, Jolie. I would never say that I’m completely back to normal, because a number of things are different after every birth I’ve had. I wouldn’t want chemicals ‘down there’ either.

      I wasn’t sure so I looked heavier into EMAB’s press releases on their site and I could find articles from the early 2000’s. So they’ve been around for at least 10-12 years. But I’ll see if I can find more info for you if you’d like. Thanks for asking, David!
